Senior forward Tarchee Brown of Rockville closed out a celebrated four-year career which a boatload of honors which included Little East Conference and NABC Northeast District Player-of-of-the-Year and first-team NABC All-America honors. The program’s all-time leading scorer and only first-team All-America and four-time first-team All-LEC selection in program history, Brown played his final collegiate game March 17 when he represented Eastern at the 2018 Reese’s Division III College Senior All-Star Game at the Salem Civic Center at Salem, VA, scoring 16 points and grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds. A starter in that national all-star game, Brown led the East All-Stars to a 120-114 victory by sinking seven of 12 field goals in 22 minutes. This past year, Brown led Eastern to its fourth straight LEC regular-season title and successful defense of its LEC tournament championship and into the second round of the NCAA tournament, which the Warriors hosted for the first time in men’s basketball. The Warriors won a record 26 games against four losses, with Brown earning LEC tournament MVP honors. In his career, Brown never lost an LEC regular-season home game, helping the Warriors to a perfect 28-0 record at Geissler Gymnasium.
