Senior members of the 2015 men's soccer program display their framed jerseys at the year-ending banquet Jan. 24 at the Betty Tipton Room. From left: head coach Greg DeVito, and seniors Zane Lombardo, Cooper D'Ambrosio, and Gavin Neuendorf. A video tribute to each senior was shown, and the 2015 True Warrior Award was presented to team manager/assistant coach Josh Tremblay.The Warriors completed their season with an overall record of 14-4-1 and shared the Little East Conference regular season title with a 5-1-1 record.
Sharing the Presidents' Cup as the top-rated academic institution in the Little East Conference in 2014-15 with University President Dr. Elsa A. Nunez were (from left) Sarah Froelich of Woodstock, Chris Armstrong of Bolton, Director of Athletics Lori Runksmeier and Paige Schneider of East Lyme. The three student-athletes shown above were among Eastern's 80 LEC All-Academic qualifiers. Froelich is a member of the swimming program, Armstrong earned the honor three times as a member of the men's cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field programs, and Schneider twice achieved academic recognition with the field hockey and women's lacrosse programs.
