Lee Cattanach (above, at the 2016 NCAA national outdoor track & field championships) completed a spectacular cross country, track & field and academic career in the spring of 2016. In his career, he competed in national competition four times -- once in cross country and three times in track & field --and garnered All-America honors three times at 800 meters, winning the New England Division III championship in that event outdoors as a senior. Cattanach graduated as the program record-holder in five individual events ranging from 800 to 5,000 meters indoors and in the 800 and 3,000 meters outdoors. As a junior and senior, he was also voted Eastern's Individual Sport Athlete-of-the-Year. As a finance major, he earned Little East Conference and Eastern scholar-athlete awards in every season of eligibility, was named USTFCCCA All-Academic as a junior and was twice named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.
